The short version
- You buy a tool once, such as Time Wheel. It's yours to use on up to three of your own computers, for as long as you like.
- If it isn't for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of buying. No questions.
- Your account is free. Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your login.
- Don't use the service to track other people's computers without their clear, informed agreement.
- Don't try to break, overload or get round the service's security.
What you're buying
A licence to use the Time Wheel desktop app, and access to your online account and dashboard while the service runs. Checkout is handled by Gumroad, which is the seller of record for the payment and sends your receipt.
Membership
Membership isn't open yet. Before anyone is charged for it, these terms will be updated to say what it includes, how renewals work and how to stop them.
Services for businesses
Audits, custom builds and other work for businesses are agreed separately in writing, with the price and what's included set out before work starts. These terms cover the tools and this website.
If the service changes or stops
Tools improve, and sometimes things get removed. If the online service ever shuts down, you'll get at least 60 days' notice and an export of your data. The desktop widget keeps working on your computer without it.
Honest limits
Time Wheel measures which window was in front and sorts it by your rules. It's a good picture of your week, not a timesheet you should bill a client from without checking. It's provided as is, and liability is limited to what you paid, except where the law says otherwise. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
